Why is Tokyo the Best?

Look, we all know that Tokyo has one of the most culturally diverse places in the world and this is reflected in these four spots to eat out at and maybe have some tea. So, where better than Liiife to show you four of the most crazy and unique places to go and do just that. This is Tokyo, this is Japan, and this is travel in all its glory.

1.Kawaii Monster Café

First up we have the Kawaii Monster Café and yes, it is as crazy and awesome as it sounds. This is a spot that is very popular with younger people and houses some of the iconic Harajuku girls. As you can see from the photographs below they have created a fantastical world in the middle of the Harajuku district of Japan’s capital city of Tokyo. It’s an amazing place that will bring out the inner childlike star in all of us.

You are hit with an array of bright colours when you walk in and by fantastic and bubbly staff. There’s even a disco and milk shakes and as many sweets/candies you can imagine. This spot has a fun-loving atmosphere and you will certainly have a brilliant time and leave wanting more and more from this place. We can almost guarantee you’ll want to visit again very short after leaving.

Secondly, we have the Swallowtail Butlers Café. This is a little piece of English Victorian Elegance in the middle of Tokyo. This miniature slice of English heritage is something that anyone who likes Downton Abbey will find amazing. Not only is it very elegant but their food is also on the highest level with top chefs cooking the most amazing dishes that complement the atmosphere perfectly. 3.Alice in Fantasy Book

I cannot hide the fact that this place is my personal favourite because who doesn’t like a bit of fantasy to mix in with our everyday lives? No-one. This spot is self explanatory but does not do it justice until you see it. This of course is an Alice in wonderland themed café. Yes, you can eat at the mad hatter’s tea party in the middle of Tokyo. The décor and staff and food represent the bizarre quality of the original story whilst making said food absolutely amazing and delicious. For anyone who loves literature this is the place for you and I can say with absolute certainty that if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland then you will fall in love with this spot and probably never want to leave. I know I wouldn’t.

4.Robot Restaurant

What can we say about Robot Restaurant that isn’t explained by the pictures? Not much. This spot is definitely one of the most popular things you could do in Tokyo – especially if you have children. If you’re thinking optimus prime from the movie series Transformers mixed with tasty food and a fun time, then you’d be right on the money or hitting the bulls eye as some say. This place really is about the experience and will not fault at giving you that memorable night on your visit to Tokyo. For westerners it’s quite comparable to White Castle but instead of knights and horses you get robots. Very modern and very cool for the youngsters. Parents around the world will definitely gain some good points for taking your family here.
